La Diputación Provincial de Cáceres en su deseo de impulsar las medidas de mejora de la eficiencia energética y el uso de energías renovables en edificios existentes en municipios y núcleos de menos de 5.000 habitantes en agosto de 2022 participó en la convocatoria aprobada por Real Decreto 692/2021, de 3 de agosto, por la que se regula la concesión directa de ayudas para inversiones a proyectos singulares locales de energía limpia en municipios de reto demográfico (PROGRAMA DUS 5000), en el marco del programa de Regeneración y Reto Demográfico del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia de España (BOE de 4 de agosto) mediante la presentación de un proyecto singular local de instalaciones de generación eléctrica renovable para autoconsumo fotovoltaico en residencias públicas de mayores municipales y/o pisos tutelados existentes en municipios de menos de 5.000 habitantes.
Se han presentado y aprobado 12 proyectos singulares de generación eléctrica renovable para autoconsumo fotovoltaico en residencias públicas de mayores municipales y/o pisos tutelados existentes en municipios de menos de 5.000 habitantes, que afectan a 110 instalaciones fotovoltaicas en 103 municipios de la provincia de Cáceres.
El valor de la inversión total es de 1.996.569,54€ y la subvención concedida por el IDAE será de 1.697.05,31 €.
Asimismo, se prevé un ahorro de 717,72 teq CO2/año y una generación anual de energía eléctrica renovable estimada de 2.271.219,58 kWh/año.
